GUWAHATI, May 23 - Vasudharini, an NGO dedicated to the development of women and children, has taken an initiative to increase awareness about coronavirus through various online programmes.
In a recent such activity, the NGO conducted an online awareness programme engaging a number of renowned doctors. Dr Sandeepa Sarma, senior medical officer, Government of Assam; Dr Kumar Partha Pratim, ENT specialist, GMCH and Dr Dhiren Dutta, IVF specialist of IHR, Assam explained the disease, its transmission and how people can protect themselves from the virus. Along with explaining the best practices in the present situation, the doctors also spoke about the safest ways to take care of one�s family.
During the programme Vasudharini also paid tribute to all the healthcare workers for their dedicated work to humanity during the pandemic. Members of the NGO from various parts of India and abroad participated in the programme related to coronavirus.
