TURA, July 1 - Angered at the poor connectivity provided by Reliance Jio, the FKJGP East Garo Hills unit has complained to the district deputy commissioner over the matter and also sought remedial acts by the company.
Further, the NGO has threatened to take up the matter with the Consumer Court to ensure the telecom giant pays heed to consumer complaints.
We want to highlight the problems being faced by Jio users. It is an obligation of the service provider to render quality service to its consumers. We have been facing fluctuations in network connectivity for months in both data and voice services, said the FKJGP unit.
The NGO submitted a memo to the DC on their complaint.
The NGO stated that the inability of the company to resolve the issue has compelled them to raise the matter with the district administration. The NGO urged the DC to act on the matter while also stating that as a last option they would approach the Consumer Court on the matter.
