GUWAHATI, May 14 - NF Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) set up summit clash with Guwahati in the Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy Elite Group Senior Inter District Cricket tournament.
The second semifinal between NFRSA and Dibrugarh ended in a draw at the Assam Cricket Association�s Barsapara stadium here today. But by virtue of the huge 241-run first innings lead the railwaymen stormed into the final.
The final is slated for May 16 to 18 at the same venue.
In reply to Dibrugarh�s paltry first innings total of 57, NFRSA, resuming at the overnight total of 230 for four, were 298 for six when the match was called off after 68.4 overs.
Manoj Malo, who was unbeaten on 69 yesterday, deservingly completed his century and remained not out on 104. He faced 190 balls and hit 12 boundaries and one sixer. Utpal Medhi also completed his half century.
