NFR to run parcel trains to Agartala, Mendipathar

GUWAHATI, April 8 - The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will operate one parcel express train each to Agartala in Tripura and Mendipathar in Meghalaya from Guwahati to transport essential goods during the ongoing nationwide lockdown.

The train to Agartala will depart from Guwahati at 4.15 am on April 11 and reach Agartala at 9.15 pm on the same day. During the journey, it will have 15-minute stopovers at Hojai, Lumding Junction, New Haflong, Badarpur Junction, Dharmanagar and Kumarghat for loading and unloading commodities.

The parcel express train to Mendipathar will start from Guwahati at 10.20 am on April 12. It will stop at Dudhnoi for loading and unloading of parcel packages before reaching Mendipathar at 2.40 pm on the same day.

On the return journey, it will start from Mendipathar at 1 pm on April 13 and arrive at Guwahati at 5.20 pm on the same day.
