With this aim, 25 trains have been speeded up to reduce running time by average 23 minutes, said Pranav Jyoti Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of NF Railway. Along with this, the stoppage time of 122 trains at different stations has also been reduced. Among these are 33 trains at Guwahati, 16 at Rangiya, 71 at New Jalpaiguri and 2 trains at Katihar, he said.

We are also planning to reduce running time of 10 more trains by an average of 24 minutes each in the coming months, Sharma added.
