GUWAHATI, Sept 4 - Maligaon-headquartered NF Railway is participating in the technical exhibition held as a part of Techniche-2015, a mega annual technical festival organized by IIT Guwahati every year.
The railway stall in the exhibition was inaugurated today by Prof Chandan Mahanta, Dean of Student Affairs, IIT Guwahati, along with Prof Hemant Kaushik, Chairman of Technical Board, in presence of CPRO of NFR Pranab Jyoti Sarma.
The various wings of NFR are displaying the latest technological advancements in the field of operation and maintenance of railway system.
Among the displays being made by NFR at the technical exhibition are various mechanical and electrical components of different types of diesel-electric locomotives, network management of data logger, Mobile Train Radio Communication (MTRC) network, bio digester tank model, among others.
Moreover, the Toy Train models of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways and Rajdhani Express being displayed by the Dibrugarh Workshop is drawing crowds in the stalls. A giant size mascot of Indian Railways � Bholu � is being displayed in front of the NFR stall.
