GUWAHATI, Aug 10 - Former champions NF Railway Sports Club and FC Green Valley shared points in the RG Baruah Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) Super Division Football League today.
At the Nehru Stadium here, FC Green Valley rallied to hold NF Railway SC 2-2 in a keenly contested second round encounter. Sibra Narzary put the railwaymen ahead in the 33rd minute but Joseph Myowa Chies drew parity in the 23rd minute.
Sankar Sil gave NF Railway the lead again in the dying minutes of the first session as he found the back of the net in the 45th minute.
Going to break with a 2-1 lead, the railway players continued their domination in the second session with better team work. But they could not keep their fort unhurt in the second session as Joseph bulldozed and bulged the railway net for the equaliser in the 78th minute.
