GUWAHATI, Feb 26 - NF Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) clinched the title in the Veterans� Inter District Cricket Tournament.
In the one sided final, played at the Jorhat Stadium today, the railwaymen handed Guwahati a 46-run drubbing. Batting first NFRSA amassed 195 for two in their stipulated 20 overs with Zakaria Zuffri (89) and Parag Das (66) being the leading run getters.
Chasing the mammoth target, Guwahati surrenderd meekly and ended the innings with 149 for eight.
Parag Das received the man-of-the-series trophy while Zakaria Zuffri and Zaved Zaman were adjudged as the best batsman and best bowler respectively.
