NEZCC meeting finalises events for 2019-20 term

GUWAHATI, May 10 - The Programme Committee meeting of the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur, under the Union Ministry of Culture, was held at Shilpgram, Panjabari here today to finalise the programmes for the financial year 2019-2020.

At the outset, Ahola Those, Secretary, Department of Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland and Chairperson, Programme Committee, welcomed PB Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and Chairman of NEZCC, and members of the NEZCC Committee. She requested the Programme Committee members to contribute more and get involved in the activities of NEZCC and provide all possible support to NEZCC to achieve its aims and objectives, a press release said.

Jitul Sonowal, Director, NEZCC, welcomed the Governor, First Lady Kavita Acharya, and others.

Acharya requested all the members to help promote the vibrant and diverse cultures of the North East.
