New water supply scheme on the anvil

KARIMGANJ, Aug 14 � The drinking water problem of Ramkrishna Nagar is expected to be solved within three months as PHE Minister Gautam Roy has sanctioned Rs 1 crore for executing a new water supply scheme at Veterinary tila of Ramkrishna Nagar.

As directed by the PHE minister APCC secretary Gautam Gupta visited the project site and was accompanied by assistant executive engineer, PHE and junior engineer. The assistant executive engineer informed Gautam Gupta that construction of water refining tank and reservoir of the Ramkrishna nagar master water supply scheme has been completed. A total of 12000 people will be benefitted and the tank camacity is about 5 lakh litre.

The APCC secretary Gautam gupta also visited Ramkrishna nagar PHC and on behalf of the PHE minister instructed the PHE department to undertake renovation works of a ring well of the PHC. He also requested the PHE officials to set up a tarapump at the campus of the firebrigade office.
