New train timings to make space for freight

GUWAHATI, Sept 29 - In order to improve punctuality and create more space for freight corridor, the Indian Railways has changed the timings of some trains at the originating stations under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone.

As per the changes which will come into effect from October 1, the 15604 Ledo-Kamakhya will now start its journey at 2.55 pm, the 15906 Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari will depart at 10.45 pm, the 15930 Dibrugarh-Chennai will now depart at 11.35 pm, the 15942 Dibrugarh-Jhajha at 5.30 am, the 13281 New Tinsukia-Rajendranagar at 6.30 am, the 15928 Dibrugarh-Rangiya at 6 am, the 55902 Tinsukia-Lumding at 7.50 am and the 15903 Dibrugarh-Chandigarh will start at 7 am.

The 12526 Dibrugarh-Kolkata will start at 10.20 am, the 12068 Jorhat Town-Guwahati at 2.30 pm, the 12501 Guwahati-New Delhi at 6.15 am, the 15621 Kamakhya-Anandvihar at 5.35 am, the 12508 Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram at 6.20 am, the 12510 Guwahati-Bangalore at 6.20 am and the 12514 Guwahati-Secunderabad will leave at 6.20 am.

The 12516 Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram will depart at 6.20 am, the 12346 Guwahati-Howrah at 12.30 pm, the 15651 Guwahati-Jammu Tawai at 1.10 pm, the 15653 Guwahati-Jammu Tawai also at 1.10 pm, the 15640 Guwahati-Puri at 6.35 pm, the 15470 Lumding-Alipurduar Junction at 3.15 pm, the 12520 Kamakhya-Lokmanya Tilak at 8.55 pm and the 15658 Guwahati-Sealdah will depart at 10.40 pm.

The 15614 Murkongselek-Kamakhya will start at 8 pm, 15817 Dhubri-Silghat Town at 8.45 pm, 55611 Dhubri-Kamakhya at 4 am, 55612 Kamakhya-Dhubri at 1.40 pm, 55914 Tinsukia-Jorhat Town at 2.40 pm, 55910 Dibrugarh Town-Simalugiri at 3.15 pm and the 55820 Guwahati-Mendipathar at 5 pm.
