TEZPUR, Aug 5 - For the development of the tourist circuit of Tezpur-Tawang, the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Tourism Department, VS Bhaskar visited Tezpur recently to inspect the site at Kolibari here, where a modern tourist lodge is proposed to be set up to cater to the needs of high-end tourists.
He also visited Chardwar in Balipara, where another high-end tourist facility is proposed to be set up to meet the demands of tourists, visiting Nameri National Park and transit visitors to Arunachal Pradesh. The Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur, Lalit Gogoi along with the Managing Director, ATDC Ltd Manik Sarmah accompanied the Additional Chief Secretary.
