GUWAHATI, June 16 � Indranil Talukdar of Guwahati has developed a new smart phone application that would help users to connect and interact even without having a phone number.
Named as WEMAPIN, the application will show users available within a specified range.
�The important feature of the app is that it would prove beneficial to young and female users, especially during the time of distress. It would help them alert people available within 1000 square metre within a jiffy, who could come to their rescue as and when needed,� Indranil said.
�The receiver by seeing the message would be able to detect and locate the sender,� he said. The first edition of the app was uploaded in Google play store recently. Indranil said that the app has already attracted appreciation from people across the globe.
