GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - Dr Ravindar Singh, a dental surgeon from Assam, has been unanimously elected president of the Indian Dental Association for the session 2020.
A resident of Tinsukia, Dr Singh obtained his dental qualification in 1982 from the Government Dental College Ahmedabad as a nominee of the Govt of Assam.
The co-ordination committee of the dental associations of the North East has hailed Dr Singh for the feat.
�It is for the first time that a dental surgeon from this region is elected as a president of all India professional body having a membership of more than 75,000,� said Dr J Barman, convenor of the co-ordination committee.
