GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - In another initiative toward providing more passenger amenities in railway stations, the Additional General Manager of Northeast Frontier Railway, Dayanand Jha inaugurated the renovated AC waiting room and second class waiting room for passengers at the New Bongaigaon railway station in presence of the Divisional Railway Manager of Rangiya Division on October 18, a press release stated.
All the rooms are spacious enough for comfortable stay at the station before boarding train. The circulating area of the New Bongaigaon station has also been made concrete to ensure smooth passage of vehicular traffic. The facade of the station building has also been improved.
