SILCHAR, Nov 18 - Inspector Ditumoni Goswami took over charge as the new OC of Silchar Sadar Police Station on Thursday.
He replaced the outgoing OC Indrajit Chakraborty, who has been transferred to the CM�s Vigilance Cell in Guwahati.
After assuming office, Goswami sought cooperation from all quarters in maintaining law and order in the city.
It may be mentioned that Goswami had served as incharge of Rangirkhari outpost before he was shifted to Dial 100 in the State capital.
