UDALGURI, Sept 8 - The 24th edition of the Bodofa UN Brahmma Gold Cup Football Tournament got off today here at the Udalguri Stadium. The tournament was inaugurated by Rihon Daimari, local MLA and PHE and Food and Civil Supplies Minister amidst a huge gathering.
New Model Sports Club of Udalguri entered the next round of the tournament edging past Khagrabari Sports Club 1-0. The all important goal of the match was netted in the first half by Orge Daimari.
Tomorrow, the Boroland FC will lock horns with the Salbagan SC of Gossaingaon.
