AIZAWL, Nov 15 � Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla is likely to be elected unopposed as Mizoram Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief in party elections on December 3 here, party sources said here.
The ruling MPCC has already selected Lal Thanhawla as the official candidate for the State party president for the elections, an MPCC press statement said. Home Minister R Lalzirliana and State Planning Board Vice Chairman H Liansailova have also been selected as official candidates for the posts of Vice President and Treasurer respectively. � PTI
