DIBRUGARH, Oct 29 � Some 31 new members including a few defectors from Aagp and Congress party from Tingkhong and Moran LACs have joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a function at the party office here.
The new members were welcomed into the party by former Dibrugarh MP and district in-charge of the BJP, Sarbananda Sonowal and district office-bearers. District vice-president of the BJP, SD Phukan, who presided over the function, said that common people were losing faith in the Congress and other political parties.
