JORHAT, March 13 - A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory was inaugurated in Jorhat Medical College and Hospital recently.
The state-of-the-art laboratory within the Cardiology department has been built with equipment and machines purchased from a leading US medical equipment manufacturing company General Electric at a cost of Rs 4.5 crore.
JMCH Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent Professor Atul Chandra Baro welcomed the gathering. In his address, he listed out a series of requirements of the institute to be granted by the Government.
It may be mentioned here that former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had laid the foundation stone of JMCH in 2008 during his visit here.
