GUWAHATI, Jan 20 -- In order to reach out to the citizens and provide them hassle free service, the Kamrup Metro district administration has added a new feature in its e-governance system for smooth and hassle free delivery of the registered deeds executed during 1998 to 2008.
This facility is available at kamrupmetroonline.in where on clicking on the relevant link the portal will generate a coupon showing the location of the registered deed (provided the document has been electronically indexed) which can be produced in the registration branch of DC Office along with the Original Receipt of registration to get the deed delivered, said an official statement. This has been done as part of the �Raijor Podulit Raijor Sarkar� initiative.
�Citizens are now no longer required to be in queue in front of the Public Facilitation Centre of DC Office to get the coupon,� it said, adding that the service is free of charge.
