GUWAHATI, June 6 - A new executive body of Eka Ebong Koekjan Sahitya Gosthi has been formed with Udayan Biswas, founder editor of Eka ebong koekjan magazine as its president, Kumar Ajit Dutta and Chandan Sinha as vice-presidents, Ratan Dutta as general secretary and Ashim Kumar Dutta treasurer.
Dr Sujit Chakraborty, ex-president of the organisation, is its adviser. Debasish Chakraborty, Debajyoti Chowdhury, Barun Sen, Benoy Kumar Sarma, Biplab Choudhury, Sanjay Kumar Das, Sankar Mazumder and Sacchidananda Chowdhury are the new executive members.
The new executive body was formed at the 7th annual general meeting of the organisation held at Sisir Bhawan, near Pandu College Gate recently, said a press release today.
