ITANAGAR, May 9 - Kashish Mittal, IAS, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of crisis-hit Tawang district, an official order issued here said.
On May 2, Mittal was appointed OSD to supervise law and order situation at Tawang after two persons died in police firing and also to initiate peace process by involving all sections of the society.
Deputy CM Kameng Dolo, who also holds the Home portfolio, on May 4 suspended DC Kamduk along with SP Anto Alphanse and OC of Tawang police station Lam Dondhup for their �inept� handling of the tense situation in the district. � PTI
