Guwahati, July 15 � Assam Sports Journalists� Association today set up a new body in their annual general meeting held at the Assam Kabaddi Association office in te RG Baruah Sports Complex here today.
Apart from forming the new body, the secretary of the outgoing committee submitted accounts of last year. The meeting also discussed their future plans through which they can help in encouraging upcoming sportspersons.
The office bearers of new body: Advisers-Balendra Mohan Chakravorty, Subodh Malla Baruah, Saurav Kr Bora, president- Pabitra Gogoi, vice presidents-Partha Chakravorty, Sanjib Sarma Thakur, Pawan Kr Jha Murli, Sushim Ghose, Mridumoloy Lukhurakhon. Secretary- Bidyut Kalita. Treasurer-Rajkumar Sharma. Joint secretaries-Hemanta Kr Bora, Imtiaz Ahmed. Asst secretaries-Tauhid Ali Talukdar, Tirtha Kr Sarma. Executive members-Dheren Sarma, Sumesh Deka, Rajdeep Das, Rajib Saikia, Pranjal Bora, Santosh Kr Agarwal, Bhupender Singh, Sambhu Mazumdar, Prasanta Bora. Co-opt members-Diganta Buragohain, Sukumar Medhi, Dwijendra Lal Das.
