MUMBAI, Aug 28: NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) would be visiting South Africa early next month to conduct its Indian Super League pre-season tour.
The club would be hosted between September 1 and 22 by the South African Indoor Football Association (SAIFA), an affiliate of the South African Football Association (SAFA), NEUFC announced today.
NEUFC is set to leave for the pre-season tour on August 31 and return to the club�s home ground two weeks before the team�s first match against Kerala Blasters at Kochi on October 6.
The entire team would congregate in Durban to avail the world-class training facilities next to the Moses Mabhida stadium, one of the host venues for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. NEUFC�s Head-Coach, Cesar Far�as, expressed his delight when asked about his thoughts on the pre-season tour. � PTI
