IMPHAL, Jan 23 � The 118th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was observed under the aegis of Department of Art and Culture and Indian National Army (INA) Advisory Committee at INA Martyrs Memorial Complex, Moirang, about 45 km south of Imphal in Manipur�s Bishnupur district today.
Speaking on the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism and Youth Affairs and Sports M Prithviraj Singh said the contributions of Netaji in the country�s freedom struggle is known not only in India but across the whole world.
�INA complex is now becoming a major tourist destination of the country�, he said. The Government of Manipur is also developing the INA complex Moirang, he added.
All India Forward Block(AIFB), Manipur State Committee also observed the birthday of Netaji here today.
