IMPHAL, Jan 2 - Local favourite North East Re-Organisation Cultural Association Football Club (Neroca FC) of Imphal played 1-1 draw against Gangtok Himalayan SC in the 2nd Division I League match being played at the Khuman Lampak main Stadium here on Saturday. Gangtok Himalayan FC�s foreign player Raratunde Ayomide Badmus scrored the first goal in the 7th minute of the match while Neroca FC striker Ch Kishan equalized it in the 79th minute.
�Our players played well but unfortunately they could not convert more goals,� said Neroca FC head coach Gift Raikhan during the post match media interaction while Gangtok Himalayan FC head coach A Shantha Kumar remarked that they were satisfied with the result. With this, Neroca FC occupies the second place after Md Sporting (13), with 12 points after the end of their fifth match while GH SC got 9 points. Guwahati FC has 5 points while Fateh Hyderabad are at the bottom with 1 point.
