IMPHAL, Dec 12 - Last minute goal from M Ashok Singh helped NEROCA Football Club beat Mohammedan Sporting of Kolkata 2-1 in a home match of the Second Division I League here today.
After a barren first session, Th Johnson of NEROCA FC scored the first goal in the 49th minute while Ajay Singh equalised in the 72nd minute. The winning goal came from M Ashok Singh who netted the match winner in the added time (96th minute) of the match.
Mohammedan Sporting coach Subrata Bhattacharya accused the referee for poor conduct of the match. But the NEROCA FC chief coach Gift Raikhan said he was happy with the result.
