TURA, May 8 - The North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) Science Fest 2019 was organised in collaboration with West Garo Hills district administration at NEHU, Tura Campus yesterday, a DIPR press release said.
About 14 schools and colleges participated in the Science Fest. A quiz competition was also held during the day-long programme. Students participating in the competition mainly focused on solid waste management system, water harvesting, solar lighting, terrace farming, and other innovative science projects.
Speaking on the occasion, West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh advised the students to do their best in their studies.
