NEFTi cricket from March 11

GUWAHATI, March 7 � The North East Forum for Technical Education (NEFTi) will be organising the fourth inter- engineering NEFTi T-20 Cricket Tournament at NITS Mirza from March 11.

About twelve AICTE approved technical institutions �NITS Mirza, GIMT-Guwahati, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Assam Down Town University, Assam Engineering College, Royal College of Engineering and Scholars Institute of Technology & Management, IST-Gauhati University, GIMT-Tezpur, CIT-Kokrajhar � will participate in the tournament this year. The inaugural match will be played on March 11 from 9.30am onwards between GIMT-Tezpur and Assam Down Town University.

Defending champions, Institute of Science & Technology (IST)-Gauhati University will meet GIMT-Guwahati while last year�s runners-up Assam Engineering College (AEC) will face SITM. The final match of the tournament will be played on March 16 from 10.00am onwards.
