GUWAHATI, Sept 4 - The panel of the newly set up North East Taekwondo Union was selected in a meeting held at the Circuit House here on September 2 under the aegis of the All Assam Taekwondo Association.
Representatives from States like � Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya were present in the meeting where discussions took place on the game and the meeting also resolved to work for the betterment of the taekwondo players of this region, stated a release.
The selected office bearers: Advisers: Boby Waikhom (Manipur), Raj Kakoti (Assam); President: Pele Kheiji (Nagaland); Vice presidents: Hiranya Saikia (Assam), Joseph Thansanga (Mizoram), Sibastian Suet (Meghalaya); General secretary: Sakun Singh (Arunachal Pradesh); Treasurer: Manoj Singh (Meghalaya); Joint secretaries: Bankim Ch Das (Assam), Th Yasuwant (Manipur); Executive member: F Thangtingliana (Mizoram).
