GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - An 18-member Assam team, including boys and girls in sub junior, junior and open categories will participate in the 18th NE Zonal Sport Climbing Competition which got off at Imphal today.
These teams were selected from the training-cum-selection camp held at the 4th APBN, Kahilipara, organised by the Assam Rock and Sport Climbing Association in association with the Directorate of Sport and Youth Welfare, Assam.
The National Sport Climbing Championship will be held at Bangalore from December 17 to 20 and the Assam team will be selected from the Zonal tournament, stated Tarun Saikia in a release.
