GUWAHATI, Nov 17 - The maiden North East Masters Athletic Championship will be hosted by the Masters Athletic Association of North East in collaboration with Masters Athletic Federation of India at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in the Sarusajai Sports Complex here from December 27 to 31, stated a release.
The organisers are expecting about 10,000 veteran male and female athletes from the entire Northeastern region to take part in the championship. All the Arjuna Award winning sportspersons of NE will be honoured by the organisers during the event.
Athletics trial camp at Nalbari
GUWAHATI, Nov 17: To pick up the Nalbari team for the Inter District Athletic Championship, to be held at Sivasagar from December 18 to 20, the Nalbari Sports Association will conduct a selection trial at the Gurdon HS playground, Nalbari on November 20 from 9 am onwards, stated a release.
All the clubs and sanghas of Nalbari district may send their athletes for the trial camp.
