GUWAHATI, May 10 - Personnel of 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati, under the supervision of its Commandant Randhir Singh Gill, carried out a sanitization drive at The Assam Tribune complex here today.
The team sprayed disinfectant consisting of sodium hypochlorite.
The NDRF battalion also distributed food to more than 400 needy people at Nizsundary Gupa, Bargaon and Changsari in Kamrup district, in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, Guwahati.
During the programme, the NDRF team emphasised social distancing, hand washing, use of sanitizer and following lockdown guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
