GUWAHATI, April 28 � Assam players � Naziya Ahmed and Ronit Bora � won the girls and boys singles titles respectively in the U-14 AITA Championship Series Tennis which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal here today.
In the girls singles final, Naziya defeated her State mate Lenien Jamir 6-2, 6-3 while Ronit outplayed Snehal Nayan 6-2, 6-1 in the all Assam boys final.
Karan Baruah Das /Spondon Goswami beat Arith Bhuyan/Debashish Medhi (all from Assam) 6-3, 3-6, 10-6 for the boys� doubles crown while Lenien Jamir/Janashree Saikia beat Raina Zaffar/Naziya Ahmed 6-3, 6-4 for the girls doubles title.
The championship was organised by the All Assam Tennis Association.
