GUWAHATI, Dec 17 � Navarang Club sailed into the final of the Ankurjyoti Challenge Ratan Lal Singhania and Mohini Devi Singhania Trophy Limited Over Cricket Tournament defeating Navajyoti Club by 3 wickets.
Batting first at the Judges� Field here today in the first semifinal, Navarang were all out for 147 all out in 31 overs.
Navarang in return cracked 151 losing 7 wickets with four balls to spare.
Hrishikesh Tamuly (37), Parag Kr Das (34) and Parvez Aziz (26) were the main contributors for Navajyoti while Utpal Medhi hit a match winning 41 for Navarang. Manoj Malo (33), Raj Hussain (21) and Jnan Boro (20) added able support to Utpal.
