GUWAHATI, March 12 � Navajyoti Club fetched a three-run victory against Navarang Club in the Bhupen Chandra Mahanta Trophy GSA A Division Cricket League today.
In a high scoring encounter at the Nehru Stadium here, Navajyoti gathered a commendable total of 203 for seven in 35 overs. Bitop Mahanta was their top run-getter with 80. Navarang, riding on Gyan Boro�s 76, made a hot chase despite some initial hiccups. However, they fell three runs short of the target as they were restricted to 200 for eight.
