GUWAHATI, Aug 16: Navajyoti rallied to beat Railways 2-0 in the GSA Super Division League for the Abhishek Motors RG Baruah Trophy at the Nehru Stadium here today. The star of the match was Jessy Vanlalmuana who scored both the goals for the winning team in the 51st and 83rd minutes.
On the other hand, in the A Division encounter, Green Valley drubbed SAI 6-1. For Green Valley, George Prince scored 3 in the 3rd, 20th and 39 minutes. The other goals for Green Valley were scored by Sayaram Basumatary (20 min), Thomson Langthasa (52 min) and Sanjeeva Rongpi (86 min).
The reducer for SAI came from Sanjoy Boro. From this win, Green Valley have earned a place in the GSA Super Division.
