GUWAHATI, Aug 14 - Navajyoti Club earned full points in the RG Baruah GSA Super Division Football League today.
At the Nehru Stadium here, Navajyoti got the better of FC Green Valley 2-1 in a well contested third round encounter of the seven-round championship.
It was however Green Valley which took the lead in the 29th minute through Joseph Mayowa Olaoeye.
They were 1-0 ahead till the break. But the complexion of the match changed in the second session as Raham Ali fired the equaliser in the 53rd minute and substitute Hirak Jyoti Moran netted the winner in the 87th minute with a solo effort.
After a day?s rest tomorrow, Gauhati Town Club will face NF Railway SC on Thursday.
