GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - A late goal by Maneswar Musahary saved the day for ASEB Sports Club in the GSA Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today.
Trailing 0-1 till the 87th minute, Maneswar finally managed to fire the equaliser against Navajyoti Club.
In the 30th minute Manjit Rabha put Navajyoti ahead in the mediocre encounter. Navajyoti players were better in sharing the ball in major path of the game and put the defending champions in trouble.
However, experienced ASEB boys kept their cool and hit back in the final quarter of the match.
