GUWAHATI, Dec 29 - As in previous years, the Guwahati Sishu Natya Vidyalaya is going to organize the fifth National Children Theatre Festival at the Rabindra Bhawan from January 3 to 7.
Addressing a press conference, office-bearers of the organizing committee of the theatre festival said that the five-day event would see participation of a large number of groups from across the country, including several from the North East.
The opening ceremony on January 3 will feature a �putul drama� by a Kolkata-based troupe. The office-bearers also gave an account of the Sishu Natya Vidyalaya, which, since its inception in 1998, had been engaged in promoting children�s drama and theatre.
