Guwahati, Jan 22: A contingent of the Indian Navy has surprised netizens with their performance as they opted for an energetic yet enjoyable session during the rehearsal of the Republic Day parade. As seen in the video shared on Twitter, a troop of the Indian Navy was seen grooving to the tunes of RD Burman's famous composition Duniya Mein Logon Ko.

In the clip, the Indian Navy personnel dressed in their ceremonial uniforms and holding their rifles upright during their practice were clapping the rifles in line with the tune.

The video garnered a lot of praise on social media as the Navy personnel performed something offbeat than the usual parade at Vijay Chowk, New Delhi during the rehearsals despite the cold weather.

The video was captioned as: "Can't get over this video of Indian Navy's Republic Day parade rehearsal at Vijay Chowk, New Delhi." The caption credited photo journalist Arun Sharma for the original clip.

The video was shared by many on the social media platform. Major Surendra Poonia tweeted the video and captioned it, "You will love it. Indian Navy contingent cheering for Indian Army Band at Republic Day Parade Rehearsal at Vijay Chowk, New Delhi. Jai Hind."
