Guwahati, April 1: The price of commercial LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs 250 from today. With the increase in rates, a 19 kg commercial cylinder will now cost Rs 2253 in Delhi effective immediately.

As per reports, the domestic LPG cylinders have been excluded from the hike. In the past two months, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 346 per cylinder. Earlier on March 1, the rate of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 105 and then on March 22, its price was reduced by Rs 9.

In Mumbai a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder will cost Rs 2,205.

In Kolkata, the commercial LPG rate stood at Rs 2,351, while in Chennai now a 19 kg cylinder will be available for Rs 2,406, said reports.

The price of domestic LPG cylinders was also increased on March 22 by Rs 50.

Following the Assembly elections, there has been a continuous rise in the price of LPG, petrol and diesel.
