Guwahati: In a bizarre incident, a man in Karnataka allegedly killed his 32-year-old son on Tuesday during an argument over not being able to get a bit of chicken curry.
The deceased was identified as Shivaram who was allegedly killed by his father Sheena. The incident occurred at Guttigar in Sullia taluk of Dakshina Kannada district.
Reportedly, the victim reached home late at night in an inebriated state. Upon finding that the chicken curry prepared at home was eaten by his father, Shivaram started a verbal feud.
As the son picked up quarrel with Sheena, who in a fit of rage, hit Shivaram with a wooden club resulting in his death.
Following the incident, Subrahmanya police reached the site and arrested the accused. They further mentioned that strict action would be taken against him thereafter.
Meanwhile, Shivaram is survived by his wife and two children.
