Guwahati, Feb 4: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notifications for Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 and Indian Forest Service (IFS) examinations on February 2. The notification includes the details of filling out the application form, eligibility criteria, date of examination and number of vacancies.
The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 861.
Candidates who are willing to appear for UPSC CSE and IFS 2022 can fill the application form by visiting the official website- upsc.gov.in from February 2. The last date for filling the application form is February 22, 6 pm.
The UPSC will conduct the Civil Service prelims 2022 exam on June 5. Candidates who qualify the prelims will then appear for the main examination.
Eligibility:
The candidate has to be an Indian national for IAS and IPS posts. For others, they can be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees. Check more for the official notification.
A candidate be 21 years old and must not have attained the age of 32 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category.

Educational Qualification:
A candidate must hold a Graduate degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

2. On the right hand side click on Examinations Notification
3. For detailed notification: click on the document section available on the page
4. After going through the notification
5. Click on Apply Online section
6. Fill in the application form for 2022
7. Upload documents as per specifications.
8. Proceed to fee payment section, enter details and submit

Candidate should have details and scanned copy of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.

Paper pattern:
The preliminary test consists of paper-I and II. In the objective type, multiple choice questions are asked that carry a total of 400 marks. In the general studies paper – II, a candidate has to qualify with a minimum of 33 per cent marks.
