GUWAHATI, April 24 � Handique Girls� College in collaboration with Assam College Teachers� Association, will organise a UGC sponsored National workshop on �Policies and Problems of Higher Education in Assam�, on June 4 and 5, stated a press release.
The sub-themes of the two-day workshop are �Developing higher education in terms of future trend in knowledge�; �Equity and Excellence - maintaining the standard of higher education�; �Role of affiliating colleges, autonomous colleges and undergraduate colleges�; financing and managing higher education with reference to Assam;� �Crisis of Science Education; Responsibility and Accountability of Teachers; Learning and Evaluation in Semester System; Stakeholders; Role in Higher Education- The Guardian�s Perspective,stated a press release.
