National tennis title for Udit

GUWAHATI, Feb 11 - Udit Gogoi of Assam lifted double crown winning both U-18 singles and doubles titles in the National Series Tennis Tournament which concluded at Kavali, Andhra Pradesh on February 9. In the singles final, Udit defeated Aman Ayub Khan of Telangana in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 while in the doubles final, Udit partnering with Aditya Balsekar of Maharashtra beat Aman Ayub Khan (Tel) and S Boopathy (TN) 6-3, 6-2. State tennis body (AATA) secretary Ankush Dutta congratulated Udit for his achievement.
