GUWAHATI, Feb 27 - The Regional Science Centre (RSC), Guwahati, will celebrate National Science Day on its Khanapara premises here tomorrow. The theme of the event is �Science for the people and people for science�.
A number of programmes will be organised on the occasion for students, including art competition, essay competition, memory contest, science demonstration-cum-experiments and science quiz.
National Science Day is celebrated on February 28 every year to commemorate the discovery of the �Raman Effect� by Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman in 1928.
