GUWAHATI, Oct 31 - The Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam is organising the 65th National School Games in the discipline of taekwondo (U-19 boys and girls) here under the aegis of School Games Federation of India at the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium in Rudra Singha Sports Complex from November 2 to 6.
More than 695 players and officials from 32 affiliated States/UTs and units under School Games Federation of India have confirmed their participation in this tournament.
The�participating States/Units are � West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, CBSE Welfare�Sports Organisation, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, DAV College Managing Committee, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, International Board Schools Sports Organisation, IPSC, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Navodaya Vidhyalaya Samiti, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Vidya Bharathi and Daman and Diu.
