GUWAHATI, Aug 19 - A six-member Assam team took part in the National Benchpress and Deadlift Championship for junior, senior and masters held at Sonipat, Haryana recently.
The medal winners are: (Girls) Jr 48kg: Nirjara Warry (silver), Bhumika Narzary (bronze). Jr 60 kg: Sunali Sargiari (silver). (Boys) Jr 67.5 kg: Biju Rajak (bronze).
On the other hand, Assam State Power Lifting Championship will be held at Borpathar, Golaghat on November. All district units are requested complete their selection, stated a release.
